Barril Beach - located in Portugal's Southern Algarve, these sand dunes used to form an old tuna fishing town that now features a memorial of anchors to remember past days.

Sand Dunes in Ottawa?

Google Maps is great. We spent an afternoon location scouting here in Ottawa and while trying to find a forest, we stumbled upon something way cooler. A mysterious beige blob. When we showed up we were super surprised to find out it was actually sand dunes. In the middle of the forest. No lake to be found.

Also a super cool tree.
