Personal

End of 2020!

I think that everyone can agree that 2020 was a unique kind of year. Many of us went through hard times, be it emotionally, mentally, financially or physically. But no year passes without any good. While we had a lot of our weddings get postponed into 2021, we are so grateful for the weddings and families we were able to celebrate with this year. Of course things looked a little different but being able to witness love and commitments, seeing our previous couples growing their families, being there for our own families, finding the benefits in working from home and have more down-time, all of these things brought joy to us in 2020. We are choosing to dwell and remember these things from the past year, and we encourage you to flip through the photos on your own phones or write down a list of the good memories you had too.

End of 2019!

Another year has come to an end and we are so grateful for each and every family, couple and event we got to be a part of and to capture. We were able to make a couple of personal trips this year and of course got to meet so many amazing new couples starting their lives together. This year we also saw more of our own friends & family growing their families, but also got invited back into the homes of previous wedding clients of ours, to capture their new additions! We love being apart of so may special memories and we want to thank each and every one of you for making 2019 a fantastic year!

These are just a handful of photos from each session, which we’ll be sharing more from each this winter!

Croatia - 2018

You probably know this about us already but we love to travel. This year we had the opportunity to visit Croatia for 2 weeks with two great friends. We landed in Zagreb and rented a car to travel between our AirBnBs. Our car was nothing special but it just fit all our luggage and the 4 of us without being too big or too cramped. One thing to note about driving in Croatia is that there are quite a few tunnels through mountains and that the speed limit is posted at 110km/hr but the cruising speed is closer to 130km/hr to keep up with slow traffic and people are constantly passing at 150km/hr+. Croatia is a beautiful country and a highlight of our trip was spending a few nights on a hired sailboat. The water is so blue in Croatia and the islands are beautiful. If you have any questions about our travels or the photos leave a comment!
