We’re excited to finally be sharing Lauren & Evan’s beautiful wedding downtown Ottawa. After their church ceremony, we walked around downtown and then ended at TwentyTwo - the Westin’s reception space. I could probably share all of the photos from their reception because the golden light & sunset in that space was so incredible on their day. Plus when there is a spontaneous conga line mid-reception, you know it’s going to be a good party.
Gatineau Park has a lot of different things to offer, no matter what you’re doing or looking for. One of our favourites, no matter how popular or touristy is the Mackenzie King estate. The estate grounds just make you feel like you should be attending a garden party. For Amanda & Brennan, this was the perfect place that was a little bit classy and a little bit outdoorsy.
Lauren & Victor’s wedding brought us to Old Montreal where we started the day off slow, the guys first starting at a Barber shop then lunch out, and the girls at their home in Montreal. A long weekend in Old Montreal definitely comes with a decent amount of tourism and traffic, but that didn’t stop us from having a great day and finding some little corners on the streets to have to ourselves. Check out the bottom of the post for some of the amazing vendors that helped to pull this together!
