Watson's Mill Wedding - Naomi & Daniel

Naomi and Daniel's was absolutely beautiful. We are probably a little biased since Naomi is Jon's sister and we were both so happy to see them married, but it really was amazing. Held in Manotick's Watson's Mill, it had all the right amount of glam, with all the casual fun-feelings of a barn wedding, with the classiness of gold accents but the heartfelt love of a DIY wedding.

I could probably show you all the photos that we took from the day, but for your sake, I've tried to narrow it down as much as I could.

Country Engagement Session

Brittany and Derek's engagement session was a beautiful country session in her hometown of Lanark, near Perth Ontario.

And then that time when Katriina trailed behind a bit and got separated from the group  by a cow.

Chateau Laurier Wedding - Melissa & Geoff

We were so pleased when this couple contacted us about photographing their wedding at the Chateau Laurier, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This was definitely the classiest wedding we've had the privilege to be a part of: top hats, pocket-watches, beautiful lace dress accompanied by a veil with lace from her mother's wedding, Fairmont hotel, sunset ceremony... the list could go on.

But what we loved even more was that at it's heart, this wedding was really about one very, very cute and happy couple, along with their families, celebrating their new life together.

During the evening, Melissa & Geoff wanted to ensure that all of their guests were documented in photos so we set up an area where they could come and have their own portraits taken. Think classy photobooth with natural setting sun and ridiculously classic background.

This wedding also hosted some of most well-written and delivered speeches we've ever heard. Since Geoff is an attendee of Toastmasters, not only was his Thank-You list hilarious but even the open-mic speeches were so well spoken! Seems like Toastmasters is the place to be.

Love this wind-down portrait taken right near the end.
