Backyard Wedding - Anna & Derek

Anna & Derek's wedding brought us over to little ol' Lucan, Ontario. Just north of London, Lucan is a quiet country town but with some seriously intense history. Not really wedding related but the Coles Notes of it was there was a notorious family feud and massacre. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Donnellys).

Back to wedding related news, Anna put a lot of work (and Pinteresting!) into their country, backyard wedding and it totally paid off. 

This snack station was. the. best. Anna - you made our roadtrip back to Ottawa well fed and awesome.

For dinner? Pig Roast. Delicious.

Save the Date Session

If you remember, a couple months ago we posted about the Best Day Ever. Don't worry, you haven't missed it. A super unique wedding show happening in November here in Ottawa where only two of each vendor will be showcased as we put on two competing "weddings" for your vote.

Well today's session is all about introducing you to the lovely Team Sparks couple, Thea & Jody. We ventured to this river spot in Ottawa to shoot a Save the Date / "Engagement" / Family session.

We also went to the Museum of Nature (where the event will be held in November) to take some photos with their adorable little girl.
