Ottawa has been so cold this January. Some time in Mexico can cure the winter blues pretty quickly. Katriina and I along with her sister and husband and mother and father all flew from our respected parts of the country and met in Mayan Riviera on a nice resort. The focus of this vacation was to spend time with family and relax. I naturally took my camera along anyways and snapped a few photos. Here are a couple photos. Tomorrow you get a a whole album.
Victoria & Brandon's Wedding
This couple was hoping for a snowy wedding, but having planned it for the third week in November - they knew it was not something that they could hope too much for. But come that morning it seemed like Someone was on their side - and there came the snow. While the ground wasn't quite covered, we got just the right amount of snow during the portraits to make this even more the day that they had dreamed of.
This was also the first "First Look" we've had the privilege to photograph and closer to the bottom - check out all the awesome details on their sweets table that was a part of their reception. Personalized cookies. Like I said - it was awesome.

Tis the Season
Ikea has a banging deal on Christmas Trees again this year. A live tree for $20 and a coupon as well? Not too shabby. Last year we made a timelapse video of us dressing the tree and we did it again this year. This might be a new tradition.
