Lindsey and Chris' wedding took place in the beautiful town of Perth, Ontario in Big Ben Park. The park is close to Code's Mill and the historic Perth core. The weather couldn't have been better for this fall wedding and we really enjoyed capturing the day and making this highlight video.
National Cinnamon Bun Day!
It's been a couple weeks since we made a blog post but here's something that will hopefully appease the eyes.
A while ago I decided to take some new product photos of the cinnamon buns we sell at The Candy Store. I hadn't posted any on the store's Facebook page so I also hadn't shared any on here. Until now. Cause tomorrow (That is Oct. 4th) is National Cinnamon Bun day. While we typically photograph people, I love reading my food magazines and blogs - admiring the food photography.
Really the challenge wasn't the lighting or the food styling, but really just having enough self control to not eat the cinnamon buns. I tried a couple different themes - cottage / easy breakfast, as well as a Scandinavian approach.

Apple Picking - Mountain Orchards
It's Fall! Time to go apple picking. If you are in the Ottawa area you have to drive about 45 minutes to pick apples but its well worth it. Mountain Orchards South of Ottawa is a good outing and has attractions such as a hay jump and corn maze for free. If you decide to go, pick up some of their fresh apple doughnuts, they are delicious.
