We're super excited for our 2014 Wedding Season to begin - only a few more weekends and we will be under way. Hopefully the flowers and grass will start growing because as nice as this field looked in the evening sunlight, it's hard to tell if it's spring or fall.
Personal
Mud Stompin'
Tip of the day - don't walk around with keys in your pocket - especially in the spring - especially in a muddy field - especially when you're running around with a kite.
This past Easter weekend we headed to Katriina's family's cottage for some R&R. As we were about to leave, we weren't able to find our car keys to start packing up the car. Ensued was a full fledged hunt for our car keys. Fortunately we were able to track them down in the field mentioned above - due to the fact that our rubber boots had left behind some serious dont-need-to-be-Man-Tracker-to-follow prints.
Exploring Ottawa - Carp 2
Our time in Carp, ON would not be complete without a visit to the Diefenbunker. The Diefenbunker is an underground bunker left over from the cold war that was intended to house a functioning government in case of nuclear attack. Needless to say the place is pretty cool.
There aren't a lot of underground bunkers left in Canada and most have been cemented in. This one almost received the same fate but was petitioned into an active museum. We are the only ones who can decide if this historic site will stay open to the public so go check it out for yourselves.
