Ottawa
The original plan for this engagement session was to head over to Bryson's cottage but unfortunately with all the rain and flooding this spring, it didn't seem like that plan was going to work out. Fortunately, Ottawa is such a beautiful city with so much lovely and easily accessible nature we were still able to enjoy a lovely evening and sunset along the Ottawa River.
No matter how many times you've visited the Ottawa Arboretum / Experimental Farm / Fletcher Wildlife Garden, it still is always a beautiful place to walk around or spend some time, and the very best time is on a warm, spring evening. Got to enjoy an evening this spring with Clare & Conor surrounded by blossoms, and don't they look fantastic?
The following was our last wedding of 2016 and it ended our season on such a fabulous note! Even though it was November, the fall colours were still sticking around and we got the most wonderful sunset as we were out on the terrace. Sally and Toby were also one of the most lovely couples to spend the day with. While their wedding was super classy, taking place in Ottawa's Chateau Laurier, they were so very down to earth and welcoming. Speeches are also one of the things many wedding guests don't look forward to, but every single speech that was given was so fantastic that both of us were shooting through tears and laughter.
