A+K - Engagement Session - Pt. I

Remember this super elaborate proposal? Well be prepared for even more cuteness because this couple's engagement session was so great, it had to be divided up into two separate blog posts.

We started off our evening with a super cute picnic that Amanda had planned for their dinner. Gotta love when stylized items actually have a function.

Stay tuned for Pt. II tomorrow! A little teaser - it involves a retro motorcycle.

Fareena & Jordan - Engagement Session

This engagement session found us in the heart of Ottawa in the Arboretum. Having met just across the canal at Carleton University, this location was a sweet little nod to where it all began for this super cute couple.

The session ended with us literally chasing the light as the sky cleared up just enough for us to get some of the golden evening goodness. Stay tuned for more of this couple as their wedding approaches in just a couple of weeks!

The MacDonald Family

Don't get confused here. This is not a mere family session. But rather a beautiful spring wedding that included one very touching ceremony (we may have both teared up) that marked the start of a new family for this couple.

We were so happy to be part of this day as Alanna and Russel got married this past May at Lago Bar & Grill, Dow's Lake Pavilion. You learn a lot about a couple when you spend their wedding day with them, and by the sounds of the words from their families and friends, these two are one sweet couple.

During the ceremony, Alanna and Russel included their daughter with an affirmation of their new family; their symbol of this to her was a necklace. Jon was able to snap a few photos when she went back to her seat and showed it off to her fellow flower girls.

Their kissing game brought the couple to new heights, including the traditional Jewish dance, the hora - a dream for the bride, even though it was not a Jewish wedding.

...and the night went on from there!
