Life

End of 2019!

Another year has come to an end and we are so grateful for each and every family, couple and event we got to be a part of and to capture. We were able to make a couple of personal trips this year and of course got to meet so many amazing new couples starting their lives together. This year we also saw more of our own friends & family growing their families, but also got invited back into the homes of previous wedding clients of ours, to capture their new additions! We love being apart of so may special memories and we want to thank each and every one of you for making 2019 a fantastic year!

These are just a handful of photos from each session, which we’ll be sharing more from each this winter!

A Look Back on 2018

While Spring begins to arrive, we decided to look back on last year’s photography season. This winter has been busier than we anticipated for our own lives and so we haven’t caught up on sharing each of these special days on their own post, but we wanted to a highlight a few of our favourite pictures taken in 2018.

Looking back through the year, I’m reminded of so many beautiful people. I’m not talking superficial beauty or wedding glam, but couples who are so beautifully in love with each other, new families that are sharing this amazing world with their little ones, emotions so openly displayed, special moments and laughs shared. We’ve said this before, but one of the reasons why love being photographers is the people that we get to meet and spend time with. People are all so special, unique and we learn so much from each and every one of you.

So on that note, we want to thank you again for trusting us to capture these special times in your lives!

Croatia - 2018

You probably know this about us already but we love to travel. This year we had the opportunity to visit Croatia for 2 weeks with two great friends. We landed in Zagreb and rented a car to travel between our AirBnBs. Our car was nothing special but it just fit all our luggage and the 4 of us without being too big or too cramped. One thing to note about driving in Croatia is that there are quite a few tunnels through mountains and that the speed limit is posted at 110km/hr but the cruising speed is closer to 130km/hr to keep up with slow traffic and people are constantly passing at 150km/hr+. Croatia is a beautiful country and a highlight of our trip was spending a few nights on a hired sailboat. The water is so blue in Croatia and the islands are beautiful. If you have any questions about our travels or the photos leave a comment!
