If you have the opportunity to get married on a family orchard, you should definitely not pass that up. Rosalind & Jeff's beautiful day is a perfect example of how wonderful it is. They got a tiny bit of rain (just enough to make it lucky, but without dampening any spirits or chairs) and the rest of the evening was spent sipping cocktails beside a peach grove and enjoying the company of family and friends. Also, we highly recommend confetti (and confetti guns), and non-Christmas crackers to be a part of your wedding. Make it a whole confetti party, if you will.

Intimate Peterborough Wedding
One of our favourite things about being involved in weddings is that you get to really see into people's lives. Every decision in putting the wedding together and interactions between the couple and their friends & family play a role. Kari & Taylor's wedding certainly showcased their love for each other while keeping everything so authentic. Their "big" day started off with a tearful first look, a ceremony by the water that the wind just could not hinder and ended in an intimate backyard gathering. Any casual, outdoorsy people can agree - the best way to spend an evening is with BBQ, a bonfire and dancing the night away under the stars.

Rainy London, England Engagement Session
We are pretty excited to be sharing the following engagement session! Erin & Oliver toured us around the town of Richmond near London, England this summer. While they'll be wed back here in Ontario, they're currently living overseas and we were thrilled when we realized we would be able to do their engagement shoot during our trip around the United Kingdom. In true British fashion, the day was grey and rainy but with a bit of the River Thames and a bunch of wild deer thrown in there, it made for an incredible way to spend our first day in England.
And because when in the UK, right?
