The sand dunes in Ottawa are a very different looking place in the winter than they are in the summer, but they made for a perfect place for this cozy winter engagement session. We love exploring nature and the great outdoors!
Genevieve & Ryan's downtown Ottawa wedding was a fantastic mix of traditional and modern all in one. Though she had a very classic wedding dress and they got married in one of Ottawa's fanciest churches, Notre Dame Basilica, the groomsmen rocked tattoos and Doc Martins - and the reception was held at The Honest Lawyer. Though hardly a typical wedding venue, they made it a place where they could truly enjoy and celebrate their marriage. Plus with the reception ending at 5pm, we still went out and took some evening portraits with the couple in in Wakefield, Quebec.
