Summer has arrived.

Between soccer, softball, visits home and enjoying the outdoors, there doesn't seem to be enough time in the week for everything. While we've been able to shoot a lot of photos, getting them edited & uploaded is a different story.​

​Here's a black and white compilation of our past few weeks. Since we're typically golden-hour dreamers, most of our photos end up being delivered in colour, but we've been trying out some new black and white edits and are liking how they look.

We'll post some more colourful versions of our adventures soon.

Mother's Day

​Happy Mother's Day!

Check out this packaging for a family photo session we did recently. Katriina loves beautiful packaging and any excuse to wrap something up. This year is our friend's first mother's day (since her first is only 10 months) so we took this opportunity to try out some packaging for the company. We love the way it turned out.

Evening Walk

This past week, we got together for dinner and a walk with one of Katriina's good friends who was visiting. After a delicious meal of Mexican (go eat at Ahora's if you've never tried it), we went around and tried out some portraits with her. Here is our favourite photograph from the evening.

​Since we had no flashes with us and ISO can only go so far, we had to get creative for this photograph. (See photo below). That's right. The oh-so-technical and convenient  smart phone. With Katriina holding up two phones with their flashlight feature turned on, we were able to get a great photo. It also helps that since we were all laughing so hard at how weird it seemed, our friend had a great natural smile working for her.
