Sometimes it rains on your wedding day, and that stinks. But in this case, Ben and Kayla were also surrounded by so many friends and family who were eager to celebrate with them on their wedding day that no rain would scare them off.
Wedding
Chelsea & Paul
You know that day in the early summer, when you kind of forget that summer is hot? This was that day. Though it was beautiful and the wedding was right on the Ottawa River at the Ottawa Rowing Club, boy was it hot. Katriina may or may not admit to hiding under a bush while Jon gathered the families for photos. Thats what second shooters are for, right? No?
We also finally got a chance to shoot at the Ottawa-iconic Minto bridges closed to New Edinburgh, and topped off the night with a shawarma dinner and sparkler portraits. Awesome! Great way to kick of our summer wedding season.
Toronto Greenhouse Intimate Wedding
Henry and Jess' wedding was a pretty neat experience for us. The day started at 6 am, first look happened when most brides are just starting to get ready, and then even though we were in the middle of a Canadian January winter, we found ourself in a nice warm greenhouse, Centennial Park Conservatory in Toronto. It was a super intimate affair with only 18 of us in attendance (including the bride and groom, and the two of us!). Here are some of our favourite photos below.
