This summer we had the pleasure of photographing Hunter & Jessica’s Ottawa wedding at the Metcalfe Hotel and Parlour on Wellington West. This retro event space was the perfect place for them to host their vintage glam themed wedding, celebrating and enjoying the evening with family and friends.

Weddings of 2021
It’s been a while! We’ve been adjusting to parenthood and enjoying time with out little guy, and while it doesn’t show, we also have still been photographing. We are already mid-way into 2022 and we, embarrassingly, have barely shared a single session, wedding or moment of 2021.
The year still had a lot of rules and restrictions, specifically the first half but that did not make any of the events lack the joy and love needed for an amazing day. Instead of trying to catch up on all of our sharing, this will be a round-up of some of our favourite wedding moments of the year.
Summer Wedding at the Billings Estate Museum
Georgina & Andrew’s summer wedding at Ottawa’s Billings Estate, National Historic Site, was one of the most thoughtfully personalized weddings we’ve had the pleasure the be a part of. It seemed like every piece and part had a story or a reason and as a result, they had a wedding that truly represented their life together. It’s hard to list all the little things but in the photos below, you’ll see Gin & Tonics served in science beakers, the bride’s immediate family all wearing their Fluevog shoes, the groomsmen wearing adult light-up sneakers, a Chinese tea ceremony that also includes the bride’s British heritage, Asian fusion food, and literally so many things to entertain all the little ones who were invited to this all-age affair.
