If Wakefield wasn’t in Quebec, we would probably live there. It’s got skiing in the winter, the river in the summer, cute restaurants and trails. Last fall we explored around with Mike & Elis to capture some pre-wedding photos with them.
Gatineau Park has a lot of different things to offer, no matter what you’re doing or looking for. One of our favourites, no matter how popular or touristy is the Mackenzie King estate. The estate grounds just make you feel like you should be attending a garden party. For Amanda & Brennan, this was the perfect place that was a little bit classy and a little bit outdoorsy.
A few years ago when we were moving from our old apartment, we realized that even though we had spent three years in that place, we barely had any photos of it. It’s easy to remember to take photos on vacations or other big events - but the small things in our daily life, the things we would actually have way more memories about, often get neglected. That’s why we loved when we just took a casual stroll around Rebecca & Marc’s neighbourhood for their engagement session.
