Just a few photos we thought we'd share that were taken to announce that The Handmade Bride is moving from their first location in New Edinburgh to a larger spot downtown in the Byward Market.
We met Kelsey and Marc back in 2008 in our first year of school in Ottawa. Even though they live in Toronto now, we are so excited to be celebrating their marriage this coming summer. But 'til then, they came back to our old stomping grounds and where they first met at Carleton University for their engagement session.
We're excited to share Scott & Jessica's wedding from this summer. We really enjoyed spending the day with these two and their families and friends. The day started (well besides getting ready) with a first look and photos at Carleton University to avoid the impending rain and was followed by a unique and intimate ceremony that was held at Sidedoor Restaurant between courses.
I must say Sidedoor was definitely one of our favourite wedding venues this summer! Not only was the food delicious, as you would expect at Sidedoor but the servers were on point, and I love the modern / industrial / old stone build of the private event space. Would certainly recommend for a small-ish sized wedding!
