When we met Grace and Abe for their engagement session last winter (click here to see the photos), we were pretty excited for their actual wedding. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. In beautiful Perth, the girls started the day at the Perth Manor Boutique Hotel. If you want to get us excited, this is the best first step possible. Finding myself in one of their suites, I was like a kid in a candy store. Awesome wallpaper, vintage furniture, big dreamy windows. The ceremony and reception took place at Temple's Sugar Bush. So much emotion from this couple, that even rain couldn't dampen their moods.
Arboretum Family Session
So often in our family sessions we find people are so concerned about having their kids smiling with everything looking happy and perfect. But that's not real and that's not family. The following session included bug attacks, nose bleeds and kids being kids. They may not be the photos you hang on your wall - but they are the photos you look back on and remember childhood.
Downtown Ottawa Sunset Session

A whole lot of awesome in this engagement session. We really only walked from the Gatineau side from the Museum of History to Nepean Point on the Ontario side, but Ottawa's downtown kinda kicks butt when there's a nice sunset. Also a fun little GIF or Cinemagraph thrown in there, and a "Brenizer" or Portrait Panorama at the bottom.
