Scott & Jessica - Engagement

Not many people can say they've swam in the Hog's Back falls (okay, maybe not the falls but the river) and to be honest, we thought maybe we were one of the few that had ever dared. But we found our match!  In honour of that, we did their engagement session there. Okay, not really.

And 'cause what's a spring session without some cherry trees?

Emma & Ali - Maternity

The following maternity session took us to a lesser-seen part of Ottawa's Experimental Farm. Although it is by far the coolest and you've probably seen it in photos, if you're taking a walk or drive around the arboretum or the farm, you don't typically pass into this area.

We actually met Emma through Facebook, since she too is an awesome Ottawa photographer. Isn't she wearing just the cutest maternity outfit? (Katriina's words, not Jons)

While we are finally mid-spring now, we all know this winter seemed to have gone on forever. If you’ve been following our blog posts, you’ll notice this year we decided to really take advantage of that cold white stuff and do some real Canadian photoshoots. We must confess, we really were not hoping for to spring to arrive as we had scheduled the following shoot for the end of March. But boy do we think it was worth it! We teamed up with some other amazing local vendors to bring you the following Ottawa wedding editorial, a winter elopement in the Wallingford Back Mine. Also a HUGE shout out to our models who literally bared their backs in the cold for us!
