Rainy Chateau Montebello Wedding

Charity and Mike had originally planned for an outdoor ceremony and tent reception to be held at Le Chateau Montebello, but the weather had other plans and decided to rain... non-stop, all day.

These two, however, have some very giving and talented friends who were able to decorate their new indoor locations in an amazing way! (Check out the photos of the ceremony location below!!) Fortunately the Chateau has a super cozy feel! Bonus points for Charity & Mike who were still willing to brave the rain for some portraits!

Ottawa Wedding - Yangtze Restaurant

Though we are based in Ottawa, for Beth & Nick coming from the west coast of Canada, their wedding is a bit of a mini-destination for them. The held the ceremony at her father's church out in Navan, and the reception was held at Yangtze Restaurant along Somserset (The 10 course traditional Chinese dinner was incredible, if you're wondering!). But in between for the portraits, we made our way downtown and made sure to use some of Ottawa's landmarks to show off their mini-destination.

Outdoor Wedding in Rural Quebec

Jon's known Jordan for years, so we were honoured when him and Sandra asked us to photograph their wedding! This couple put on a beautiful outdoor wedding in his hometown of Hudson, Quebec, complete with charcuterie and an ice cream cart for guests. And lawn games? No - they amped it up to a new level with rides on the sea-doo for guests (even grandma took part!). The reception was then held at the Hudson Community Centre.
