If you were remotely tuned into the news at all this summer in Ottawa, you will have heard about the closure of the Prince of Wales abandoned train bridge that connects Ontario and Quebec just west of downtown Ottawa. We had been to the bridge on numerous occasions for general exploring, sunrise picnics or watching fireworks over the river. This bridge was essentially an extension of the neighbouring park and was a beautiful place to spend an evening. But we had never officially shot any photos here. So this August with Sally & Toby, before the city "closed up" the bridge, we decided to explore (hopefully not) one last time. Once again, another wonderful evening spent above the river.

New Edinburgh Engagement Session
This summer we were able take a great evening walk around New Edinburgh with Charity and Mike. We started at the local Bridgehead where they had their first date and then spent the rest of the evening walking around the park along the water as the sun set. Stay tuned to the blog as we'll soon be posting their Montebello wedding!
Cumberland Heritage Village Museum Wedding
We absolutely loved being a part of Alyssa & Dale's wedding day. These two are probably the most friendly, welcoming, easy going and loving couple you could imagine. Not exaggerating - these two make you want to be a better human. There were so many moments to capture all day as they were surrounded with family and friends who clearly care so much about them. Not to mention that they just couldn't stop smiling and kissing each other. The weather was absolutely perfect for them for their outdoor ceremony and reception at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum.
Alyssa and Dale were even so giving as to set some time aside from their wedding day to celebrate some special moments in their friends' lives! They made sure to bring a graduation hat for their friend to throw since she would be missing her grad by being at their wedding, and specially ordered a birthday cupcake for another who was spending her birthday with them!
