The Handmade Bride - Grand Opening Soiree

Late last year (2015) we got to take part in throwing a grand opening party for the new The Handmade Bride store, now located in the Byward Market. Somehow, we managed to not blog about it. Whoops! So here are some of our shoots from the evening. The store is even better now that it's full of beautiful designer gowns, so if you're in the market for a dress or accessories - definitely check it out!

Winter Maternity Session

We recently had the privilege of photographing some maternity photos for some friends. They had painted their nursery an amazing & vibrant "David's Tea" green. Of course we used it for some photos along with an amazing crocheted baby blanket Krystle made. We love the outdoors so we also made our way into the cold for a few photos. We can't wait to meet the baby!

Chateau Montebello Wedding

The following wedding took place at the Fairmont's Chateau Montebello, which is a fantastic mini-destination wedding venue. Situated just over an hour from Ottawa, the Chateau Montebello is a unique log cabin resort. Even with a little bit of rain, Sarah and Glen were able to say their vows outdoors alongside the river. During the reception, their wedding planner (When Sparks Fly Events) even helped the couple arrange to have a bouncy castle for their guest's enjoyment!
