A Classic-Romance Styled Wedding at the Chateau Laurier

The following was our last wedding of 2016 and it ended our season on such a fabulous note! Even though it was November, the fall colours were still sticking around and we got the most wonderful sunset as we were out on the terrace. Sally and Toby were also one of the most lovely couples to spend the day with. While their wedding was super classy, taking place in Ottawa's Chateau Laurier, they were so very down to earth and welcoming. Speeches are also one of the things many wedding guests don't look forward to, but every single speech that was given was so fantastic that both of us were shooting through tears and laughter. Fletcher Wildlife Garden; Fall Family Session

Jon's known this family since he was a little boy and so he was honoured to be able to capture them together. Family sessions are definitely a bit different with teenage or grown-up kids but it's definitely still a great way to remember your family during this time. Plus with no kids putting up a fuss, it's definitely easier for us to be able to get a bit more creative.

Jodie & Lennart's Fall Wedding

Jodie & Lennart were graced with one of the most beautiful fall days this past year. The weather was warm and sunny and their mid-October wedding caught the fall colours in full glory. The wedding started out at the First Baptist Church in downtown Ottawa, then over to Gatineau Park (along with what seemed like the rest of the Ottawa/Gatineau population) to capture some photos and then we finished off the night at the Rideau Tennis Club.
